Genesol 721 is a low foaming, multicomponent, powder cleaner for membrane systems. It is designed to reduce differential pressure, increase flux and improve salt rejection. The blend of chelating acids removes oxides of iron and manganese plus calcium carbonate scale. It is also effective in removing other metallic foulants such as aluminium. This advanced, high strength powder has the following features:
Genesol 721 is a complex of chelating acids and osmotic agents which is classified as non-toxic. Low pH solutions are corrosive against carbon steels and concrete so pumping equipment, piping and storage tanks
must be constructed of acid-resistant materials. Observe all safety precautions detailed in the Material Safety Data Sheet which is available upon request.
